Proudly designed in Melbourne, Australia, our collection features sterling silver and 18k gold vermeil. All NAIMA jewellery is nickel-free and lead-free, prioritising high quality and care for your well-being.

From initial concept to final creation, we collaborate closely with expert artisans to ensure that each piece reflects the care and conscious consideration we put into every stage of the product development and production process.

To ensure your jewellery last as long as possible, please follow our care guidelines below.

Store your jewellery in a cool, dry place, away from UV light and direct sunlight. Moisture is not your jewellery’s best friend—exposure to water, salt, steam, and humidity (such as from showering, washing hands, exercising, or swimming) can lead to tarnishing. To prolong the life of your cherished pieces, avoid wearing them during these activities, or be sure to dry and clean them thoroughly afterward.

We use Sterling Silver 925, a lustrous lightweight metal which made up of 92.5% pure silver. The remaining 7.5% consists of other alloys, which enhance the durability of our jewellery for everyday wear. Our silver pieces are coated with Rhodium, a high-value precious material (commonly use in white gold), to minimise natural tarnishing.

Why is Silver Jewellery Not 100% Pure?
In its pure state, silver is too soft for practical use in jewellery. To create an alloy suitable for crafting, it is smelted and blended with other metals, resulting in the robust material known as sterling silver.

Essential Tips for Sterling Silver Jewellery
Regular maintenance is vital for prolonging the life of sterling silver. Exposure to direct UV lights, perfumes, cosmetics, salt, water, and moisture can cause tarnishing. To minimise this, wear your jewellery often! After wearing, gently rub it dry with a polishing cloth and store it away from humidity. Protecting it from UV light and sunlight will also extend its lifespan.

Storing Sterling Silver Jewellery
Improper storage can lead to oxidation, commonly referred to as tarnishing. We advise against keeping your jewellery in our gift boxes for extended periods. Instead, store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Use the anti-tarnishing tab included with your purchase to guard against moisture during storage.

Cleaning Sterling Silver Jewellery
Consistent care is essential for maintaining your sterling silver pieces. To clean, gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth or soak in a silver cleaning solution and dry with a polishing cloth. Ultrasonic cleaners are safe for use on silver jewellery. Avoid abrasive cleaners or brushes, as they can scratch the surface.

Unlike plated non-precious products the18K Gold Vermeil is a premium gold plating technique, uses Sterling Silver as a base, then is thickly coated with 2.5 microns of pure 18K gold for premium durability and long-lasting quality. This high technical crafting skill provide us with both rose and yellow gold colour options .

What to Know About 18K Gold Vermeil Jewellery
Vermeil may naturally tarnish when exposed to environmental factors like air pollution, moisture, salt, and sulfur. Fortunately, the shine of your 18K gold vermeil jewellery can be restored as long as the plating remains intact. However, contact with perfumes, cosmetics, and saltwater can damage the pieces.

How to Store 18K Gold Vermeil Jewellery
We recommend avoiding long-term storage in our gift boxes. Instead, keep your jewellery in a safe, dry place - such as an anti-tarnish pouch or case or using the anti-tarnishing tab included with your purchase. This will protect your pieces from direct sunlight and UV exposure when not worn.

Avoid clustering your jewellery together, as this can lead to scratches and damage to the coating.

How to Clean 18K Gold Vermeil Jewellery
Proactive care is essential. To prevent tarnish from settling, clean your pieces regularly by gently buffing them with a soft, dry polishing cloth. Be cautious, as some polishing cloths can be abrasive; avoid excessive polishing to maintain the integrity of the finish.

Cubic zirconia (CZ) looks almost identical to diamonds, a refractive index/sparkles of 2.15 to 2.18, compared to a diamond's 2.42, giving it a remarkable brilliance.

It is composed of zirconium dioxide, and created in a controlled laboratory environment, ensuring consistent quality and purity.

  • Put on Last, Take Off First: Always wear your pearls after applying perfume, creams, and cosmetics to minimize contact that can damage them.
  • Avoid Moisture: Do not wear your pearls if the string is wet, as this can stretch and harm the pearls. Additionally, keep them away from water while swimming, showering, or washing dishes, as moisture can dull their luster.
  • Protect from Sweat: Pearls are sensitive to body acids, so it's best to avoid wearing them during intense exercise or activities that cause excessive sweating.
  • Store with Care: To prevent scratches, store pearls separately from other jewellery. A soft, silky pouch or a jewelry box with compartments is ideal to protect them from dust, sunlight, and UV light.
